Jaxson Dart’s first 11 on 11 pass is a pick 6

First #Bears practice is in the books and there were some growing pains.
Ben Johnson got on Caleb & the first-team multiple times, and eventually pulled the entire unit in 7-on-7s after they couldn't get lined up twice in a row.
No sign of Luther Burden.
- Caleb Williams was picked off early in 11-on-11 drills. Tremaine Edmunds got him on a pass over the middle.

I perversely can't wait for the twitter meltdowns after JJ's first TC pick.

"Training Camp “stats” are insane and ridiculous.
Used to think it was always just people joking, but now seeing them seriously reported.
You have no idea what the purpose of that period is, what the goals are, what the context is, etc.
It could be a strictly 3rd & Long blitz period where every play is skewed to the defenses advantage. Coaches could be asking the QB to focus specifically on one route concept. DLine may be focusing only on bull rushes one day or just speed rushes for one period.
More importantly, practice is for practicing. You’re supposed to fail. You’re supposed to try new things, see what works and what doesn’t work, etc. If you only do what works, you’ll never grow, adapt, change.
The entire point of training camp is to build and grow towards the season so that you perform your best when the real games start."

All very true. Still, I was happy to hear that Ben Johnson screamed at his offense and Caleb Williams, then pulled them off the field when they couldn't get lined up on time twice in a row.

He's making them miss coach Eberflus. "Good old 'Flus wouldn't be mean to us like that. I'm filing a grievance with the NFLPA!"

I'm telling you, Aaron Rodgers will lose patience quickly if KJ plays like I think he'll play.
"Kaleb Johnson went 0-3 in the backs-on-backers drill and lost decisively to Malik Harrison, who bullied Johnson with a bull rush. He worked off to the side with Jaylen Warren after practice. If he can not get going in pass protection, his playing time will naturally be capped.”

Its so important to be able to pass protect as a RB....unless your name is Adrian Peterson.
