Jordan Mason By The Numbers
#1

Would not be shocked in the least if he eventually took over lead back duties at some point this year. Would still be a 60/40 split as I think KO wants to keep his RB fresh.

Aaron Jones knows for his own longevity for the entire season is to have Jordan Mason have is share of carries...which I think would enhance both backs by keeping them both strong and healthy for a push towards a playoff appearance.

The Vikings haven't had a nasty short yardage back like Mason since hoard.

I believe Mason is gonna outperform his contract.

Watching Mason suck the life out of opposing defenses in the 4th quarter is gonna be priceless to watch.

I think we want to see Mason be the 60 earlier in the year and save Jones legs for later in the season and playoffs if they are in the cards.

From those highlights, looks like Mettellus is going to be glad he only has to face him in practice.

Definitely excited to have a power back that can wear down a defense. We haven’t had one of those in a while.

This is the Viking's plan, to optimize both players. And then ride the hot hand in certain drives or games. Both players have certain skills, I like it for 2025.

Agree. Every fantasy ranking I've seen has Jones over Mason by a large margin, but I would definitely take Mason over Jones. He's not only going to get plenty of work in what should be a very good offense with a very good line, he's going to be the 4th quarter back and the red zone back.

I was at that 49'er game and he torched us pretty good that day...

He reminds me of Montgomery.
