Hard Knocks going back to school?
#1
North Carolina and coach Bill Belichick will be featured in Hard Knocks: Offseason, per Ryan Glasspiegel. The apparent decision comes after NFL Films could not find an NFL franchise to participate.

"There are a lot of conversations going on right now about (Hard Knocks)," UNC general manager Michael Lombardi said Friday, via The Pat McAfee Show. "We've had offers. I don't think anything's yet been official or signed. When you're dealing with the university and the brand that we have at North Carolina, which is incredible, you've got to make sure that everything's done right. All the T's are crossed. Bill has been talking to different people that contacted all of us here and been sorting it out. I don't think it's official. If we do do it, the idea is to let people examine what we're doing, take a look at the 33rd team in the NFL and see how we're building this program and what we're trying to accomplish. It'll give an accurate portrayal."

As a Tar Heel fan, I'm actually excited about Tar Heel football for the first time in a long, long time. It's interesting no NFL team would agree to participate.

Makes you wonder just how hard the NFL tried. Guessing they wanted to feature Belichick and bring in new viewers since it is something different.

UNC + BB a lot more interesting than any of the NFL franchises...

At least for me it would be.

Say what you will about Bill, I would watch more things that involve him. Dude has a great mind for the game.

My consecutive streak of never watching is not in jeopardy.
