How will the NFCN stack up in the NFL at QB?

Interesting to see 2 years from now. Jordan Love, Caleb Williams, Jared Goff and now JJ McCarthy. On the younger side, although Goff is 30 years old I can see him playing another 5 years possibly.

Still crazy to think Goff is only 30 years old. Feels like hes been in the league for 15 years.

Goff had early Super Bowl success and then floundered for a couple years with the Rams until the trade with Detroit. Those up and down roller coaster years did seem like a decade. Both the Rams and Lions improved with the trade. That's hard to do.

It's all about having the right supporting cast, the right culture, coaching staff and situation.
Paying $50-60 million a year for a "franchise QB" is a bad financial decision if you cannot build the right kind of support.

According to Over the Cap, you currently have 10 QBs in the NFL getting paid $50mm/year or more. Of those, five are between $55 and $60 million.
Trevor Lawrence
Jordan Love
Josh Allen
Joe Burrow
All four at $55mm
Dak Prescott at $60 mm

The one missing in those top five? Jared Goff, playing at a very high level is "only" slotted in at $53mm.
