Keenen McCardell
#1
Is he going under the radar as one of the better coaches in the NFL?  I watched every game Addison played at USC and he has been a much better WR with the Vikes.  He did not use his speed like he does here at USC and did not get this kind of separation with the consistency he is doing it here.  Also, seeing what Nailor did yesterday, despite a relatively disappointing season, he looked like Jake Reed yesterday from the 3 deep team.  Makes me wonder how much of Jefferson's success is due to him as well.

McCardell is one of the gems on the staff KOC has put together. He's been getting accolades (at least on fan boards) for a while.

Vikings (maybe until now) were the least talked about 2 loss team - maybe ever.

McCardell was a Zimmer hire, who KOC wisely retained.  We should do everything we can to retain him for as long as possible.

Here's a good article at the time.

I'd much rather fly under the radar, have nobody talk about us...and win...
I'd rather be the underdog for every single game...and win...

Too often, with all the nonsense talk if/when we have a good team (usually due to pre-season hype), we crash and burn and don't fulfill expectations.
I don't need random sportswriters talking more about the Vikings...just win.

I think you have to look at Josh McCown also as an underrated coach. How much of the success of Sam can KOC take as the head coach but with Josh as the quarterback coach he deserves a lot of credit also.

Agree, they were talking about McCown on Good Morning Football and how huge he has been for Darnold and that he could get some looks as a head coach soon.
