Bears clown-shoe ending to Lions game
#1
I had the sound off when this was happening and was literally screaming "what the #@&# are you doing!??" If you haven't seen it, the Bears have the ball at the Lions 35, down 23-20. They're already in field goal range, it's 2nd down and they have a timeout to burn. Williams takes a foolish sack on 2nd down and on 3rd down this happens...

I was at work and we were watching this game. 4 Bears fans sat stunned as I was yelling, throw the fucking ball. Then one of them said, They should have called a time out.

Equal blame on Willams and the coach in my opinion.

1. Don’t take sack
2. Get up to the line and run a play quicker
3. Take a Time Out

Hopefully the Bears keep everyone in this organization next season. They are better at beating themselves than other teams.

I also heard that Caleb decided to change the last play of scrimmage at the line when communication with the coach was already cut.....yikes.

at that point I was asking myself if they are even trying to win.... with that said, I am about sure they will come into USB in a couple weeks and shock the world.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Agree. Williams should not have taken that sack. It was a QB draw, so run, moron, all you need is a couple more yards for an easier field goal. Then one shot to the end zone for the win, a timeout and a field goal attempt. So frustrating since high-school level clock management would've really helped the Vikings.

Cue the Benny Hill music...

Growing pains for Caleb for all to see and marvel at...How much of it is him vs being poorly coached/trained?

I'm with Rip on this one; I hope they keep everyone intact on that staff.

Caleb and the coach I will always call "Gooberfluid" showed their combined lacks of judgement at the worst moments of that game...which is on brand, I guess.
LET'S WREAK SOME FUGGIN' HAVOK, VIKINGS!!! SKOL!!!

It would be rewarding to finally over-take Detroit and win the Division. It'll be interesting to see it all unfold the next month.

If we cant win the division, I would rather The Lions have home field vs Philly.
