Rodgers a Vike in '25?
#11
I will watch reruns of the puppy bowl on a continuous loop before I ever watch a Rodgers led Vikings team.

Those are all valid goals, but if you try to create a plan to achieve those goals, you run into a problem.  You can hire a GM.  You can hire a coach.  You can't just get a QB.  Sometimes the right QB is available at the time you need to get one.  By all accounts, there's not going to be a QB available to them in the draft.  Maybe a FA will be available, but I doubt Darnold's going back there.  There's one viable prospect and they're going to be drafting too late to get them, unless they want to mortgage the future and send a ton of picks.

I very much could be wrong, but my take is that they are still a fairly talented roster, but with bad coaching.  They brought in a bad OC who ended up being bad.  Then they fired the HC who was making their defense good, and now they're poorly coached on both sides of the ball.  I think the plan for them probably looks like what the Vikings did.  Try to run it back in 2025 with better coaching.  Casually get rid of the guys that aren't going to be around long term, and start to figure out how to find the next QB.

Maybe their owner hates everything about this underperforming mess, and wants to burn it down and restart from zero, but there's nothing he's done that has suggested their committed to "doing it right" as his meddling is what created this mess.  Doing it right would mean handing this off to a competent individual and letting them formulate a plan.
