Will Levis is a bonehead
#1
Makes at least one monumental fuckup per game. His head coach, Brian Callahan, at one point is yelling at him, 'what the fuck are you doing??'. The dude's quirkiness comes out on the field with massive brain farts at the worst times.

No wonder KOC said "Hell nah" when he had an opportunity to draft him.

Another franchise with dirty hands (Carolina). This kid's confidence is shot. I always doubted Young anyway as a viable NFL starter, but Carolina isn't helping him much:

It's been a weird season so far. Vikings nearly blowout the 49ers, the only outcome I thought was NOT possible. Vegas beats Baltimore, the ferocious Lions lose to the Bucs at home, and what the hell is happening in New Orleans? Anthony Richardson looks bad, Caleb, Daniels and Nix have as many TDs as JJ McCarthy.

He's never looked good since he was drafted. A RB playing QB, not the first.

He slings it sidearmed from his upper body with no lower body platform and is only accurate to about 10 yards. Beyond that he routinely misses wide open targets by 5 feet or more.

Vegas and Saints winning yesterday just reminds me how in any given week. Vikes over 49'ers too.

I know the Vikings had the hots for Richardson at one time. Cant help but wonder if he got under the right coach/system/tutoring or not??

I have a hunch not many in skol nation are going to be angry we passed on Levis

That is the craziest stat for me...  through two games, none of the rookie QBs have a TD pass yet.  I think Daniels ran in two and Nix has a rushing TD, but zero PASSING TDs.  Wow.

Repeat after me:  I promise not to question the Viking's brass picks in the draft!
At different times, I was drooling over the potential of us landing Richardson and Nix (never Caleb or Daniels though).
Kwesi made a couple boneheaded moves his first draft, and he's owned it.
But since, I think they're doing the realistic and right thing in evaluating talent.
Sometimes in desperation (see Dobb, Joshua), sometimes being opportunistic (see Gilmore, Stephon).

KOC has often said that they look as much at the mental makeup of a prospect to see if they fit the Vikings culture.  I think we are seeing a glimpse of what the Vikings culture really is.

I am very curious to watch the Falcons tonight and evaluate Cousins.  Is he really what was holding us back?  Or did we just not put him in the right situations?

Could be both with Cousins... he was holding us back with his large dollar contracts that didnt leave a lot of meat on the bone to pay for better protection for him that might have given him the comfort and protection he needed to really get the team to the next level. I think he is a great arm talent, but didnt like getting hit, and with his unwillingness to move in the pocket and to extend plays with his legs, it really handicapped a modern NFL offense. Defenders are just to good to hang a piece of meat back there and not expect them to eat.
