President Biden religiously avoided questions by the media.  VP Harris is doing the same.  Why is that acceptable?  We are in an election year, the people the deserve an honest, questioning media and deserve answers from the candidate.  Any thoughts on why the avoidance?

It's not about answering questions.  Harris is letting the MSM redefine her.  She evidently had nothing to do with the border.  She wasn't the most liberal Senator. She's pro police and security.  The economy has never been better.  She's pro fracking...etc.  It's a 3 month sprint...and much like Biden...the less she talks away from the teleprompter...the better.  The less people know about her..the better. She's a highly flawed candidate...running against another highly flawed candidate. The MSM can do the heavy lifting...just like it did when Biden hid in his basement in 2020.

what Badger said, if she gets out and makes official statements, then she be on record lying, but if the media does it for her... well nobody with an ounce of sense believes them anyway, but those arent really the voters she is pandering to, all she cares about are the sheep that are afraid of going and looking for the truth themselves and are more than willing to suckle the teet that doesnt challenge their life long voter allegiance.

Well said Badger!  I agree, she has some serious explaining to do.  The media can partially carry her water but ultimately, she should explain her reasons for the huge differences between her 2019 campaign positions and the current campaign.  There is much to answer for relative the performance and decision making of the Biden/Harris administration.  Hopefully, the pressure does come to bear, forcing her to explain her positions and provide her goals for the next 5 years.

Still negotiating stages, I think debate(s) will happen.  IMO, I would offer two debates, one on Fox and one on an alphabet network. Kamala needs to put her "big girl" pants on and answer questions by the media and debate her opponent.  Not a good look to be afraid of Fox network or media in general.  Yes, they'll likely ask tough questions in a debate but a future President will need to address tough questions, think on her feet, and give detailed spontaneous answers (ie no hiding behind teleprompters and walking away).  She clearly needs to outline her accomplishments.  JMO.

I have to admit that I'd look forward to the portion where one side continued to deny/downplay his dalliance and dishonesty regarding a sex worker, while the other side tries to fight being labeled as being a political sex worker after her affair with the married mayor/patron on her way up the ladder.

Then again, either of them explaining anything is kinda torturous, maybe I should retract that.

It’s pretty clear. There’s just no parties involved that want a government that serves the people and we’re all just letting this happen.

For whatever reason, the people that control our government want this to be a complete shitshow, because we’re not even getting politicians that pretend to be competent. Everyone knew that Biden wasn’t a legit option. The democrats could have had a primary, but chose to ride Biden past the primary window, and then chose to handpick a horribly unpopular candidate that has basically had to have been hid from view for the last 3 years.

The more they parade these stooges in front of the camera, the more obvious it becomes that these people are just figureheads not competent enough to do anything on their own, and once you realize that, you have to ask who are the people that are controlling them. Right now, they are just trying to get as little media exposure as possible. I think right now, there is still enough time that the Democrats could get a real qualified candidate if the public pressured them to, so they need to ride it out, until everyone is stuck with Harris, and you are forced to vote for the lesser of two evils again.

I refuse to support "evils", period. I told both "main" treason clubs to f**k off and die decades ago...and their ridiculously enabled fan clubs are the most poisonous threat to this country.

2016 should've done it. Both main candidates were untrusted train wrecks, complete satire, the junk of humanity from both extremes...but no, the idolatry and messes that still persist almost a decade later. Now, we have packs of redcaps that literally don't care how many felonies, lies, sexual assaults are confirmed for their chosen deity, competing with piles of wannabe socialists/communists empowering muslim nazism across the western world.

How much worse does it need to get?
