Dont know about Chicago, but we had a big system come through Friday into Saturday morning that dumped 3 inches of rain or more through a big area. They usually get our weather a day later.
We got dumped on Friday...But we're still way down for the year, rain is welcome.

Same here. Hot and windy summer with a few big rain events but not near enough and to late for the farmers.
