Rex Ryan just on NFL Countdown predicting a Giants "beatdown" today citing the Vikings offensive line issues and the Giants exploiting those matchups. Says Thibedeaux is going to be a handful whoever we have at RT, Leonard Williams will kill our RG (Ingram) who "cant pass block", and Dexter Lawrence will maul our undersized center (Bradbury) and get up in Cousins face. Thinks Giants will dominate and bases that on his 30+ of defensive coaching experience.
Rex has been hating on the vikings all year almost had a melt down  after the vikings bet giants and the jets . one of the worst on tv

Today is a day we need Dalvin Cook to have a big game because the individual matchups do favor the Giants. If we can run the ball, stay committed to running the football, then we'll have a much better chance of winning. Worst case scenario is getting into 3rd and longs against that Giants defensive front because our offensive line won't hold up. If Kirk is throwing the ball 45+ times today..  we lose
I was about to post how KOC has under-utilized Cook this year running the football, and then I looked

RUSHING:
2021: 249/1159/4.7/6 td
2022: 264/1173/4.4/8 td

Where he really dropped off vs previous years is pass catching...
Cook is one of the best screen weapons in the game and his under-utilization in the screen game has been my biggest disappointments on offense this year. Maybe we were saving it for the playoffs?
Is it that they've underutilized Cook in the screen game or that they are an absolute dumpster fire at successfully running screens this season? This is among the worst Vikes teams I can recall at screens.

Rex sucked as a coach, why would he be any different on tv?

Thought about driving into Chicago and going to one of the Vikings Bars to watch.

But, StickyBuns’ record at a Vikings bar, the 27 degree weather this morning, and it’s an hour+ drive home changed my mind.

Go Vikings! Let’s win this damn thing!

It's the scheme and play calling because we have the same personnel as when we were running those screens to him effectively. I just don't think its part of what KOC wants to do on offense, which is a shame because like I said, Dalvin is special out in space.
