Except that narrative has been disproven countless times by the actual facts, game-winning or tying drives, etc. It's actually a little hard to find these garbage time situations from last year considering every single loss, except for one, the one Kirk didn't play, was within one score.

 I don't think confidence and leadership show up on any stats other than team Win/Loss record.  To me these are the areas where Kirk has vastly improved on and it's making the entire team better.  He's playing with new confidence and we now have a Viking QB providing leadership like we've wanted since he came to the Vikes.  My eye test shows me KOC has made Kirk a better QB no matter what his personal passing stats say.

not sure where that's be proven countless times showing stats from this year (not what im talking about) and last year ( I actually think his game has changed from previous years)

Yes, Kirk and the offense played well last year.  The defense really gave up the games as well as a couple bad calls (Dalvin's fumble) or missed FGs.
