New offense, new defense, new coaching staff, no starters in preseason, new play caller... there is no doubt that the Vikings can come out rusty, and not quite fully up to speed. The great thing is, the season is a marathon not a sprint. A loss or two at the beggining of the season is not the end of the world. With a 7th team now getting a playoff spot there is a greater chance making the playoffs. If they can build momentum and put things together for the last month of the season they could be very good going into Jan football. That all being said, we cannot go 0-4, 0-5 to start the season, and losing a div game to the diviion favorite at home will certainly sting.
