Hold on, hold on....

Let me check my possible QB replacement tree out in the cold, Feb back-yard;

Need to find someone with:

26 tds/6 ints/107 QBR in 2019
35/13/105 in 2020
33/7/103 in 2021

Nope, couldn't find it.

I was hoping to find some traces of the elusive QB wins stat out back too, couldn't find that either.

There's no doubt that If they move off of KC they will have lesser QB play for the 2022 season at a minimum. They only reason you make the move is to get the cap in order & rebuild the defense.

as long as you are out there,  find the lombardis and rings that he has left laying around.   no?  ok how about division championship awards... I know there is one out there somewhere,  oh wait,  he left that in DC,  his 1st year as a starter.

yes its a team game,  but when is it ok to expect the highest paid player on the team to do the little things it takes to over come the weaknesses created by his contract demands?  if he wants to be the big man on campus then he needs to be able to back it up,  its not fair to blame everybody but the guy making more than the next 5 highest paid players on the roster combined.

Kirk is a damn fine passer,  but as a QB and a leader he does have warts and those are why he shouldnt be excluded from the ire of the fans, or discussins involving doing what needs to be done to improve the status quo that he is a part of.  you can make jokes all you want,  but does it really feel like the last 2 years were something to hang onto just because Kirk had statistically good years personally?  I dont think so.  Can the team compete with him at QB, yes IMO they can,  but its going to take a real price concession ( not a kick the can thing either) in order to make this team something that does compete with him at the helm,  anything less is just pissing in the wind IMO.

Would Stafford have brought this team a super bowl this year? The last 3 years?

what does that have to do with Cousins and his contract demands?  Stafford wasnt here, is not in discussion to come here,  and is not relevant to a discussion regarding the current state or future of the Vikings.  you have to play the cards you are dealt and this team is not a QB away from contending so why pay KC a kings ransom to be here when its that ransom that is partially to blame for the current state of the team.
