Not on baseball board. Actually I do think gov exp helps with President, look what happened when we didn’t.
My point isn’t that minorities should be excluded. But they need to have the same qualifications as your white candidates. When you interview someone who doesn’t have years of scouting experience, you get a lemon.
It was absurd when Roger Headrick, white guy, was named to lead Vikings who came from Pillsbury.
Darren Wolfson has said, and I believe him, that the Vikings will hire a minority for the GM job. It’s already settled. That’s why Ed Dodds passed on a chance to interview.
