Another Mock Draft 2.0
#11
If they made a sane move for Sewell?

I'd be dancing a jig like when they got Moss, AP or Cook...

Thanks a lot Guru, now I'll be disappointed if they don't  :p

"Hint, hint, the team has done a lot of pre-draft scouting on DE who can stand up over the OT vs. always having a hand in the dirt. Hayes fits that mold and he's met with the Vikings on multiple occasions over Zoom."

I absolutely love that we are looking at Edge defenders like this. There always seems to be a plethora of prospects that fit this mold.

I also like the option of throwing a hybrid 3-4  look out there.
If you want the 1st round version, they've met multiple times with Azeez Ojulari. They've met with nearly all the top pass rushers but he is the most functional on and off the line of scrimmage.
Any thoughts on Joshua Kaindoh? Have they met with him? Or Charles Snowden?

I don't know about either of those off-hand. I can let you know if I hear anything. I know they've spent a lot of time meeting with most of the pass rushers so it wouldn't surprise me. In more of that middle tier I know they've spent time with Hayes, Elerson Smith, Cam Sample, and Golston.

EDIT - Adding my thoughts on Kaindoh. Has good measurables and is a raw talent. I don't foresee him being a sure thing, but historically the Vikings have valued high upside guys who've had pedigree (4 star +) coming out of HS.
