Steelers v Ravens >< To Being Cancelled?

The Patriots had to play without Cam due to COVID so there wasn't help with that.

It's getting worse and worse. The NFL is now dancing on a knife edge trying to get these games in. To the point now where there will be a game played during my Wednesday team meeting. That will be weird.

I can't imagine it's going to improve much the last few weeks. NFL will be lucky to finish the year.

Honestly, I'm surprised we got this far without it turning into a shitshow.

My prediction was the season would be done on Thanksgiving, this may signal the end of the season.  That Denver game, why?  Put a fork and an asterisk in 2020.

I wonder if they shut it down for a period of 3-5 weeks and then try to resuscitate it?

If NFL can survive next 2 weeks, would you be surprised if they somehow got some dosages of the vaccine. Me personally would not surprise me one bit.

Very surprised they have not implemented a bubble, but hard with such large teams. I think it will happen for the playoffs...they won't want a Super Bowl with starting QBs held out.

TV money is driving most of this - the network paid the NFL for the Broncos game, regardless of who played QB.

The NFL Salary cap is frozen between 175 mil and 198 mil until 2023.

I wonder  if the NFL and NFLPA will consider having nationally televised  games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights as a way to recoup the lost salary cap funds.

Wrapping a  Tuesday or Wednesday night game around and NFL team BYE  in 2021  is one way  they could do it.
