Shout out to Oline

with a nod to Kubes

Elf had a great outside zone block too and overall looks good. Good to see

The blocking on the outside zones was really good, though the interior running game wasn't working too well. The pass protection didn't get tested too much, though there were some issues with Cousins getting hit on roll outs. Definitely a good game to build off of and you can already see the Kubiak/Dennison influence on the offense.

Yes, lots of good to build from...

Going to have to be more balanced on offense next week me thinks...

Kudos to the defense, they gave the offense a short field twice. The offense capitalized on the opportunities as well. The special teams, wow that was nice to see them play well.

Almost every play that was blown up was Elf missing. And I don't mean getting pushed around. He flat-out whiffed on at least 4 plays that resulted in a loss of yards.

This was a dream start to the year but I'm not a homer. Elf was a dark spot on a Line that was fairly bright today.

It looks like he isn't mobile enough for the OZB. Like, less so than Reiff. On the flip side, Bradbury and O'Neill look like the perfect fit to scheme and Kline didn't look out of place.

One game. New scheme. New position. Way too early to worry...

I would be worried as well. He was the weak spot but no where as bad as Remmers or Compton.
This scheme however gets an A+ for the most part. And the Elf was going against some pretty good players.
Bradbury was outstanding!

sorry but with the performance of Dozier in the preseason. the leash has to be short with Elf bc we have dynamic weapons, good coaching, a talented QB and a damn good defense.  the leash for bad performance has to be short.

Give me a big strong body who can get in the way
