Honestly, I think the roster is pretty cut and dried

I don't expect any real surprises. I think those of us here on the board, that are close to the team's daily activities, can understand things like Treadwell possibly being released, etc. Nothing really shocking there potentially. Some more minor things of interest would include if a guy like OT Udoh gets a roster spot or on the practice squad, how many D linemen will Zimmer keep, will the team keep 3 QBs and so forth.

Not too much drama left...

Unless they pick-up a big name from elsewhere. I think letting Treadwell go would be a big deal, albeit not a surprising one.

Treadwell being released at this point isn't a big deal, he's had time to catch on. Releasing Dan Carlson so early was clearly a big deal, especially given his success and our failure since that time.

i am wondering if Rick releases VedVike and admits his (and Zimmers) inability to recognize/coach ST talent.  To piss away another mid round pick on a kicker and only have a total of 2 NFL games to show for it would be a big strike against the coach, scouts, and GM who IMO are fighting for their jobs this year.

I think they just about have to stick with the kid as a punter and KO specialist and hope that his jitters the last 2 weeks settle out and he becomes the guy they thought they were getting.  Honestly Wile has looked better the last 2 weeks,  but he is still the guy that we thought he was prior to KV getting here.  2 weeks of good punting shouldnt over shadow a year of questionable PK holds and inconsistent punts.

I think that they see Vedvike as our future kicker at this point, so I think they keep him to punt and backup Baily.
