Cousins was excepional this year considering the abysmal performance of our line in every facet of the game. I don’t think there are many QB’s in the league capable of the season he had while taking complete breakdown of protections on 50% of passing plays.

Cousins is the most underrated player on the team right now in my opinion.

I doubt the redskins would have let him go if he could do what erin and shady do as in win games all by themselves. what he is though is in that second group of QBs who are good enough that if we have a team around them theyll win.

His mom and I have the same last name so he is probably a cousin but I'm not likely to invite him to any family reunions anytime soon

Cousins is not underrated.  His "pressured" stats are inflated by the Vikings passing so much.  Big Ben had more attempts and averaged 0.2 seconds less time to throw.  There are seven Qbs will less time to throw that are in the Playoffs.  Cousins didn't get it done this year... much like his previous seasons... his team ended up around .500 while he did his best Matthew Stafford impression and racked up yards.

From a post by Silverjoe in another thread...

Dak Prescott sacked 56 times and threw 80 less passes.

Deshaun Watson sacked 61 times and threw 101 less passes.

Russel Wilson sacked 51 times and threw 179 less passes.

All three are in the playoffs.  All three won their games yesterday.

So no, Cousins wasn't the most pressured QB this year.  If you want to use Time to Throw comparison.... Cousins had an average of 2.74 seconds to throw.  There were 21 QBs in the league that had less time.  Including these..
Ben R. - 2.55Brees - 2.59Brady - 2.61Rivers - 2.62Luck - 2.63Stafford - 2.63Manning - 2.65Trubisky - 2.65Wentz - 2.66Foles - 2.68Keenum - 2.68Mariota - 2.69
The ones in bold made the Playoffs.  Once again Cousins is not underrated.  He under performs when the lights shine their brightest, he has a history of it.  "Wait til he's on a good team" people said.. the Vikings drop large coin to bring him to a team that made it to the NFCCG in the prior year.  But somehow, that team isn't good enough either.  Cousins, so far in his career hasn't elevated his team... he puts up numbers, he fumbles, he throws pick sixes... but still... he puts up numbers that get people all giddy, thinking they could use those numbers to improve their team.  Cousins needs to become a leader, needs to be a player that elevates his team when needed.  The Vikings had a QB that could manage a game and they spent money on a QB they thought could win games.  He did not, this year.   Hopefully he starts to in 2019.  He needs to start by building a good chemistry with his intended targets this off season.  He needs to learn to improvise when things don't go "perfectly".  He needs to improve.

Time to Throw isn't really a reflection on how much time an OLine allows a QB to throw.  The best QBs take less time to throw because they are better at finding their target quickly and getting rid of the ball.  Also QBs who can only make a single read before they break down and run will have lower time to throws.  QBs who are in offenses designed to get the ball out quickly will take less time.  QBs with bad receivers will take more time because they can't find open receivers.  QBs who scramble around behind the line waiting for guys to come open take more time than non-scramblers.  There's way too many factors that go into it, so it's not applicable on determining if a QB is under pressure or not.
I do agree that Cousins isn't great under the pressure of big games, but that's just a bad stat that doesn't mean anything without context.
