I still think it comes down to you have to run enough to be
unpredictable. It’s predictable to force feed the running game at the expense of the passing game. It’s predictable to pass every down. If the defense thinks you’re going to do one thing, you should be doing the other until they don’t know what to think anymore and are on their heals. If you’re dominant at one thing, maybe you can just out-execute a defense that knows what you are trying to do, but that’s not us right now.

Detroit is a team that doesn't run the ball. How has that worked out?
I don't think the Vikings need a major overhaul. Fix the O-line and they have the pieces to be very good on offense. But bringing in mediocre rejects from other teams isn't the likely solution.
