That has to be a product of good film study.  he read a key immediately and stopped his rush.  This kid is just an all around stud.  Kudos to the scouting, drafting and coaching.  Finding an athletic freak that is a sponge and wants to get better each day.  And having the coaches like Patterson in place to max him out at 99 in all categories.

Yep. Lucky Rick Spielman lucked into another one

I'm pretty sure Rick didn't randomly pick his name out of a hat on draft day.  I believe the scouting department actually went to LSU and evaluated him.

im pretty sure that was sarcasm pointed towards a certain poster that only exists to point out spielmans failures.
