Makes you wonder, how bad he was in the locker room.  Perhaps the thought of him mentoring Daunte was just a non starter.  IIRC Moss and George were pretty good friends in MN.  Mettenburger kinda gives (gave) me the same  vibe, immobile, great arm, pisses off authority.

If I remember correctly. Moss and Carter were begging the team to keep George as the QB but Denny went and drafted Daunte and Dimitrius.  SMFH.
