Mailata, a 20-year-old of Samoan origin who played professional rugby
for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, is working on making the conversion to
offensive tackle in the NFL. At 6-foot-8 and 345 pounds, he has the size
to make that conversion, and his recently timed 5.00-second 40-yard
dash would have ranked among the top five at his position at the NFL
Combine, a hair better than potential first-round OT Connor Williams did
it at 50 pounds lighter.

This guy is big and can obviously run, but sole would likely only have a shot at FB.

Wow, that was funny to watch. Definitely has the size and speed. Be fun to just watch him in camp.

Remember this guy? He ended up getting drafted by the Eagles in the 7th round. 4 years later....

From PFF: “There may not be a single below-average starter along the Eagles' offensive line. Pair that with arguably the best tackle duo in the NFL, and there’s no debate about which team's offensive line belongs at No. 1 heading into 2022. Jordan Mailata's incredible development at left tackle can't be understated. After not playing a snap in his first two NFL seasons, Mailata went from spot starter at left tackle in 2020 to the third-highest-graded player at the position in the NFL last season.”

Oh, and by the way, the Eagles have quietly put together one of the better rosters in the NFL. It wasn't that long ago that the Eagles were the NFL's laughing stock for taking Jalen Reagor ahead of Justin Jefferson. Well, Jalen Reagor is now their WR3.

For them, it all comes down to Hurts because they're looking good everywhere else.
