The Rams have been active
#1
on defense in the past few days.

They traded for corners Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib, and signed Sam Shields.  They also franchised Joyner. They traded away Quinn and Ogletree.  Shields has not played in a while (concussions) but was good when he did play. Talib is still good. Peters is one of those love him or hate him guys.

I guess this means they expect to lose Trumaine Johnson and Nickel Robey-Coleman.  Regardless, they are being aggressive.

Elsewhere, Seattle is blowing up their defense. R. Sherman and J. Lane will get cut soon.

Still waiting to see if Miami cuts Suh. He is amercenary, but he is still really good.

They needed DBs desperately. It was the weak link in their defense by far. Now they have to make it gel. Peters and Talib are head cases, so they've got their work cut out for them....Peters makes Deion Sanders look like a willing tackler. If Sam Shields is anywhere close to his old self, that could be a decent signing.
