With Cousins and his production
#1
There will be very few games where the Vikings won’t have an advantage on multiple levels.

Let us say that KC is 6-10th overall in QB play, how many teams are we going to face in that top 5?

When we face the Bears, Rams, Cardinals, Jets, Bills, Dolphins, we will have a distinct QB advantage.  Along with various other advantages at various positions.

Vs the Lions, Seahawks, Niners, Eagles, the QB play is similar, meaning the rest of our team is the equalizer which gives us an advantage to win a majority of those games.

So it really comes down to how much better are we outside of QB vs Pats, Packers, Saints. I would say we are better on defense, running game than Pats and Packers, so Cousins being our QB gives us a legit shot to win our toughest of games.

Thats why hes worth just a little bit more than most, because with Cook and the Receivers and an improving OL and a top 5 defense, we we are in or favored in every single game. You cant guarentee that with Teddy, Sam, Case, AJ, or any other available QBs.

That’s why adding Cousins if you can is so important, chances are likely he will play to his 6th best QB level OR IMPROVE on it, which for this team top level year after year consistent QB play hasnt been around since 2004 (minus 2009).

If you have a shot to add this level QB to this team and lock it all up for 2-3 years at the worst, you do it. It is realistically as good as it is going to get.
