It's definately lost its luster for me the last few years with most of the top guys choosing not to participate.

Few things I'll be watching for:

RB Jonah Coleman's height. If comes in at 5-9 he's good to go. If he's 5-8 he's going to slide a bit.
DT Peter Woods speed and arm length
RB Demond Claiborne's speed. I'm going to guess 4.39
S Caleb Downs speed. He's not going to test well. Does a bad combine drop him? It shouldn't, but it might.
CB Jermod McCoy's health
CB D'Angelo Ponds height and weight. In places he's listed at 5-9, 200, but I think he might come in smaller than that. If he comes in closer to 5-8, he could be in trouble. Helluva player though.

I would be over the moon if the Vikings somehow drafted Ponds...5'8 is a bit scary, but AW sr did ok at 5'9, maybe 5'8 is ok in slot...Ponds is a poster child for just plain olde CHP?

Minnesota Vikings without representation at NFL combine podium

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 27 of 32 NFL teams will make their general manager and/or head coach available to take questions from the podium at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Most of the interviews will be broadcast live on NFL Network and all of them will be streamed/recorded for unfiltered public consumption. Unfortunately, the Minnesota Vikings will not be one of them.

That’s right… for the first time in FIVE scouting combines as Vikings head coach, Kevin O’Connell is not making himself available for a standard podium interview, unlike most of his colleagues.

The Rams and Jacguars are not sending brass (head coach and general manager) to the combine at all.

Alot of stuff gets done at the combine besides measuring and weighing meat...This is where deals are born and important connections made...I suspect Indianapolis may play a role in who's in that QB room besides #9 this Spring.
