That keeps all three options (very accurate passer, qb scramble and run) available and introduces second guessing on the defense.it gave them the extra second they needed to pick the right plays.
We had at best one and half options since Wentz was not even healthy (missing multiple throws and poor accuracy) and not a scrambler. They thus keyed on our run game since that’s all we really got - hence we were pretty much one dimensional
