There is definitely a pattern...

It paid off for KOC at the negotiating table with the Wilfs too...I'll bet he got at least $12mm/season - up from $5mm

He still has learning to do as a play-caller, but I suspect he will get better with age.

This is part of the reason I feel fairly confident handing the keys to JJ. He'll not only have a rebuilt line, a new back, and the best receiving weapons in the NFL, he'll also have the NFL's foremost QB whisperer mentoring him after a year in QB school. 

If only we could've foreseen this and given Sam a 2-year deal instead of one. We'd be swimming in picks right now.

I think it's safe to say that these guys love KOC. Lots of KOC. KOC probably gets hard on them from time to time but that's when they really feel the love.
