Wouldn't be surprised to see Kirk have a rebound game...

......for these reasons:
  • Vikings thin at CB, they'll pick on someone and have success.
  • Falcon's O-line usually does a great job of pass protection, probably will give Kirk time
  • Atlanta will probably take a page from the Cardinal's playbook on attacking the Viking's D.
  • Kirk usually plays decently after laying an egg previously and he can be highly accurate.
  • Bijan Robinson could be a big problem.

I expect the game to be close for sure, maybe a little more high scoring than usual. No doubt Minnesota can take this, but it won't be easy and they'll need to play more good football than just one quarter.

Vikings are on a 5/0 roll too...I would like to see them finish 3/2

But the Vikings will have to steal one on the road if they lose this one.

I've already written off Seattle, just because its west coast aNd the Vikings.

Yep, I agree with all that. It could be a close game for all those reasons. However, Kirk hasn't thrown a TD in a month and the Falcons have lost three straight. Something's wrong there.

It would be just like the Vikings to have Cousins snap out of his funk right in time for us, but I think this will be a chess match more than anything. KOC and Flores know Cousins inside and out. Cousins knows KOC and Flores. KOC worked with Raheem Morris in LA and they are familiar with each other's schemes. Falcons offensive coordinator, Zac Robinson, took his offense from LA just like KOC did. They're very similar offenses. This will come down to game plan.

Couple other things. Bradbury typically struggles against Grady Jarrett and AJ Terrell is a damn good corner.

I haven’t watched a Falcons game in the last month plus, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Kirk has a little bit of magic in him.

Kirko Chainz vs. Slingin' Sammy D. I think we are overdue for a Gink pick 6......

Seems like we have watched Kirk enough to know his weaknesses. Pressure the pocket, take away first read, hands up if you don't get to him. Probably easier then said but Kirk Cousins is who we thought he was, They are who we thought they were - Dennis Green

Past history with six years of watching Kirk tells us that he goes up and down. Last week was definitely a down week. He really struggles when a defense has planned for him, it seems. Having said that, I am cautiously optimistic that BFlo's scheme against him will take away his strengths. BFlo's familiarity with Cousins' strengths (and weaknesses) might be the wild card here.

I think it is going to come down to how our defense plays against Cousins (and Robinson on the ground, of course).

The surprise would be Kirk stinks, they put Penix in and the kid has a coming out party at the expense of the Vikings.

It would not be a stretch as Kirko appears to be struggling with after effects from the achilles tear.

Nacho Leber was saying today they havent been play-actioning much - a surprise given how good Kirk is with it. Leber expects more of that and more Robinson with IPJ out.

Against certain defenses Cousins inability to use his feet didn't hinder the outcome. He was able to get away with it.

IMHO the Vikings defense and Bflo will be able to T off on getting to him. The Vikings defense will make him nervous and he'll make mistakes.
