prevent defense and long fields to work hard to keep 2 deep safeties on a 50+ yard field and cover all the holes that end up in your D, makes for pretty easy pickins when the O knows that those safeties are playing halves and staying over top in most cases. QBs can easily add 50 to 70 yards a drive to their stats going against the prevent schemes.
