Hurts for MVP?
#1
His second 1/2 against a Bills team (with everything to play for) was crazy - even by his standards.

Much as I dislike Philly fans, I've admired Hurts since back to his college days.

Guy has really improved as a Pro and props to the Philly staff for curating the kid and playing to his strengths.

Hurts earns everything he gets, good guy and tough. Easy guy to root for if he wasn't a Philadelphia Eagle.

My fantasy opponent had Jalen Hurts. He had like 5 or 6 points late in the 3rd. He ended up with over 40.

Fantasy aside, this is what the Vikings should be looking for in the draft. Maybe not a perfect passer, but improved greatly at OU, promising more improvement in that department. But smart, highly athletic, super high character and leadership qualities. Can't believe 52 players were drafted ahead of him in 2020.

Now, go find someone just like that. :-)

Hurts is awesome and that roster is stacked. SB contender or possibly the favorite if the playoffs started today. I'm jealous.

Yah, they would be favored over Ravens or Chiefs in the SB and the 49'ers in the playoffs.

Its theirs to lose. At 9 (or 10) and 1, their dominance reminds me a bit of 98 Vikings, but Eagles have a better D.

Hurts won me over as a fan a couple years ago when they were at FedEx field. The railing collapsed and he immediately started helping people that had fallen. Compare that to Stafford in LA when the lady fell off the stage in front of him, and he put his hands up and bailed the other direction. Hurts could have just as easily kept walking.

It takes a lot for me to not dislike someone from that team.

I was impressed with Hurts at Alabama, how he handled that National Championship game benching at halftime with class.  He never badmouthed Saban.  But when he had a chance to move on to OK, he proved his point.  He's only become more of a professional at the Eagles.

I thought he had kind of an off game against the Bills, then I realized he only accounted for 5 touchdowns, remarkable.
