Unpopular opinion- why did the Vikings do this? Rudy did not have an “incredible” career. He had a decent one and made good money so congrats to him but what’s the point of this? It’s not hurting anything I guess so whatever but if the Vikings are going to give every player who had an okay career for us a presser and some pomp, they’re going to be very busy.

Granted, he's not Alan Page in Vikings folklore...

But here's reason enough for me; so long Drew and Sean. 

Plus they do a ton for the kids in hospitals community in MN.

Rudy said the other day that the Vikings should trade Cousins, he proceeded to run 4.3 yards & stepped out of bounds… Wink B)

He and his wife's charitable work in the area is incredible and he had a decent career. I have no issue with Vikes honoring him.

I thought it was cool. He is a good dude and a great representative of the team in the community. He had a good run, no issues with honoring him.
