RIP: Joe Kapp

one of my first memories of Vikings football was him knocking out Jim Houston. If you couldn’t love Minnesota football after that game, you were dead to me.

Joe was one of kind, style and personality.  Always wore the helmet like an ill fitting fashion accessory.

Those helmets back in the day look like you should be eating ice cream out of them, not wearing them for 'protection'. What the hell are those low tech junk helmets protecting? Nothing is the answer. These poor bastards that played with such primitive equipment, its crazy. No wonder many of them have so many health issues after their playing days are done.
