Zimmer had some good years here. But by the end, his regime was a disaster, and that includes his defense. He should have been fired at least two years earlier. I don't miss Zimmer.
I loved the Zimmer defenses. His last two years were handcuffed by not having DBs that were worth finding at a local 7-11. As we can see this year, having DBs able to play the scheme is rather important.
