I also heard that the Wilfs are looking for only the shifty athletes in this year's upcoming draft. It goes with their MO, ain't that right General Lee?

I expect they will not want to extend Cousins and he will not agree to let them add a couple of void years to his deal to lower his cap. He knows he is probably looking at his last extension of his career (that would be significant). Cousins could force a trade by making the team leave his cap hit alone which is a non-starter.

If they did leave his cap hit alone then they will NOT be major players in free agency and they will still have a bad defense.

If they trade him then they may not get as good of a QB (statistically).

The tank could be inevitable and will likely occur naturally due to the team being awful.

Restructure Theilen, Sign P2 if hes reasonable and a second starting corner and run out whats left as a 3rd corner.

Irv back, conklin out, barr out Lynch in, Richardson out, Watts and Lynch in. Ev out Wonnum in.

Im not seeing a huge drop off in talent and still a fringe playoff team on paper
