This was our corner group and front four in the middle of the season last year. In fact, the Vikings took this exact group into Lambeau and beat Aaron Rodgers....well, mostly Dalvin did behind 4 TDs, but I know several are bummed about Barr being out. We'll be fine.

a good reason why this defense will go from being bottom 5 to top 5 this year.  

legit monstere upfront and a all pro LB to shut down the running game will force plenty of passing situations vs the blitz and very smart/experienced DBs

They will gel and be very hard on opposing offenses.

Some sharp national media member said the Vikings would have a top 5 defense this year....

The hogs in the middle will set the tone for the whole defense.  That has-to-be much improved with the crew we have along the line with Richardson and others in a very strong rotation.  If for some reason Pierce/Tomlinson don't live up to even average hype then we are screwed but I really can't see that.  

I am way more concerned about our OL, QB, ST and coaching - HC and all new OC's
