It was a sad game more than anything....

That was my feeling. They got manhandled and Cousins just looked horrible. He does not trust that offensive line to pass block. The defensive line is in bad shape without Pierce and Hunter. I think the secondary has a legit starter in Dantzler, however. Cousins said some weird things at his press conference. But it was just a really bad loss. They felt out of it very early.

They keep looking this bad and ownership is going to have a decision on its hands at season's end. Might be an expensive one.

You're right. This one was as inexcusable a loss as I've seen in quite some time. Cousins just looks shellshocked. It's going to be one long year as a fan.

The Falcons toyed with Minnesota. The Viking's coaches were helpless to stop the bleeding, but those 3 INTs were just brutal. The stoppage on 4th and goal. Just horrible football being played until garbage time.

I'm glad I was out pheasant hunting instead of watching. One other hunter heard me listening on my phone, and he asked "Are the Vikings playing today"? I assured him they were not.

I spent 20 minutes of my time watching. Sundays in the fall are too glorious and short-lived to waste it on that level of play.

It's one of those years gang.

If you and your loved ones have your health? Just be grateful for that and football is just a game. There are a few bright spots on the team to enjoy along the way.

Does it get any more special than getting your ass whipped at home by an 0-5 team that just fired it's coach?  At least we have Kirk Cousins garbage time to get excited about.

They went from final 4 in NFC playoff's to this...

Call me Mike Hughes, cause I got me a bad case of whiplash. Rest of NFC North I'm sure is delighting in our demise and wishing us a 6/7 win season.

Sad is right. It's difficult enough playing with a young secondary, without Hunter, Pierce, Barr, Cook, etc. But does it have to compounded by yet another one of Cousins' meltdowns? Like all QBs, he's had some terrible games in his career, but he's had three of his worst in six games this year.

I said last week I'd rather play the Titans and Seahawks again than a pretty good, winless team playing its first game with a new coach (I spent most of the first half trying to figure out how the 49ers running back, Raheem Mostert, was suddenly the Falcons head coach).

Anyway, that doesn't have much to do with Cousins being terrible again.
