The 21 point expectation
#1
Remember when Zimmer said that all he expected of the offense was to score at least 21 points - because his defense would hold opponents under that?

Vikings offense has gone over 21 in every game this season, so why are we 1-5?

Cousins and offensive failures are going to get savaged after this game, and definitely deserve some blame. But defense gave up 40 today, and that's their 2nd time this year over 40, now averaging 32 points per game. Does Zimmer need an offense that guarantees 35 in order to keep his acclaim as a defensive guru?

Before the season Zimmer said he's never had a bad defense, and doesn't expect one now, or something to that effect, when asked about all the talent that he lost from last year.

Offense didn't really get it done today! At least 5 three-and-outs and 4 turnover on downs. Ugly game! Somebody will get fired before years end!

Oh yeah, I'm sure we're on the verge of yet another offensive coordinator scapegoat change by Zimmer!!
