Dirty Birds cut Treadie...
#1
In March, the Atlanta Falcons were looking to add another receiving option to their already talented offense. They signed former first-round pick Laquon Treadwell, who spent the previous four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.
It’s safe to say that Treadwell was a bust for the Vikings, as he only scored two touchdowns in 53 games and was even released by the team last season before they eventually brought him back. On Saturday afternoon, as part of the Falcons task of dropping the roster to 53 players, the team released Treadwell, and he wasn’t pleased with the camp reports about him struggling in camp.
Unfortunately for us, all we can do is take the word of those who were allowed to view Falcons camp from afar. Multiple reports were that Treadwell was dropping passes and struggling in the offense, which sounds similar to his time in Minnesota.

He's just not a good NFL WR. He can't get separation. Some on this board made so many excuses for the guy because he was playing behind two great WRers in Thielen and Diggs, but the truth is he sucks.

He was a reach right from the beginning. the majority of the board saw this after just one season...maybe a panic move by the organization at the time.  Another bust for the Vikings' record books.

He never did recover from that leg injury in college. Couldn't get separation. Hope he's been wise with his $, its gotta last a long while.

If he loves the game, hope he can get into the coaching ranks at some level.
