At some point the league will figure out that NE coordinators don't fare well without Bill.

Apparently that point is not yet upon us.

I like the guy in Miami. They don't have much talent but his players play really hard for him.  I know that technically he was not a coordinator, but the he came from Belichick's system.

JOSH MCDANIELSC, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports multiple league sources "cast doubt" that Patriots OC Josh McDaniels is interested in the Giants' head-coaching job.McDaniels has yet to interview with the Giants but is scheduled to next week. There are rumblings he doesn't want to leave New England and "might not want to coach in the New York market." Even if he did, McDaniels would likely want to hire his own GM or have final say on the roster, neither of which the Giants can offer with Dave Gettleman in place. It's becoming clear that McDaniels to New York is a long shot.

I just don't see a marriage of Josh McDaniels and mister truck stop ending well. Is that stating the obvious too much?

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Browns have requested to interview Eagles DC Jim Schwartz for their head-coaching vacancy.Schwartz was the Lions' head boss from 2009-13, leading the Lions to one playoff appearance with the only winning record of his tenure (10-6) in 2011 before being bounced on Wild Card weekend. Schwartz drew some interest from the Giants and Cardinals following the 2017 campaign, but Pat Shurmur and Vance Joseph got those jobs and have already been fired. Schwartz won a Super Bowl in Philly in the 2017 season.
