Just another good weapon for The Capt'n...Offense is pretty loaded.

They have to continue to prioritize improving the OL or it'll all go underachieving in coming seasons.

47 tight ends in the NFL ranked by PFF.

TJ Hockenson - 35th (drafted 8th overall)
Noah Fant - 41st (drafted 20th overall)
Irv Smith Jr - 16th (drafted 50th overall)

I was questioning in my mind "big part of offense"

Really?

But then you read the % of plays he's involved in and realize his contribution goes way beyond # of catches or td's...

Gonna be tough to feed all the skill dogs in coming seasons. Nice problem to have and we shouldn't take KC for granted as the triggerman either.

What the coaches like is he's so versatile that it doesn't give away what they want to do when he's in there: TE, slot WR or outside. He's a very good athlete and so young. He's gaining confidence which bodes well for the stretch run. Love it.

Blocking has been strong right out of the gate...next year he'll be even more potent in the passing game...he just needs a new #...

Against the eagles?  Cousins went to Rudy for 24 pass interference gain.

Next play cousins hit Smith for 26 yards.

2 plays 50 yards, 2 different TE's. First time I'd seen that, ever.

Yep, Irv is the man. Looking like a fantastic pick.
But I agree, no Vikings should be wearing 84!
