Kyle Allen > Kyle Sloter
#1
Kyle Allen, 2nd year undrafted QB (still with the same team in year 2) went on the road, and started in place of former MVP Cam Newton.

Kid posted 4 touchdowns in a victory that may just have salvaged the Panthers season after they started 0-2.

Just another example of how different it is performing in regular season games as opposed to pre-season games or scrimmages.

The OTHER Kyle? With his 3rd team since 2017, yet ANOTHER team that has decided that he doesn't DESERVE the opportunity to be on their 53 man roster.

Just an update for all those still gnashing their teeth over losing future HOFer Sloter.

That is all.

So what your saying is, even a QB that ranked lower in the previous 2 preseasons than Sloter did.
When given a chance was able to show how different it is performing in regular season games as opposed to pre-season games or scrimmages. By salvaging his teams season and posting 4 TD's against #1's.

And your point of this is that 31 other teams passed on MR Allen.

What really is your point?

Jesus, every time a backup QB goes out and plays well are you going to come back here and gloat-post about how that QB is better than Sloter?

Tired of this....... Lets just enjoy the team win today and move on to Chicago.

Quote: That maybe....just MAYBE, that the Vikings and their fans aren't really GOOD at evaluating QB's. I know that even the thought of the Vikings not being good at something blows some people's minds, but it IS a possibility. Just sayin'.

And BTW, Seriously? You are Seriously going to quote PRESEASON QB ratings? LMAO! The next time Sloter posts 4 TD's in a road win in a regular season NFL game, you let me know, OK?

The POINT is that OBVIOUSLY professional coaches and executives (make that GOOD coaches and execs) place a lot more emphasis on what they see first hand, as opposed to playing against XFL wanna-be's. It took Denver 1 training camp to see that he doesn't warrant a spot on their 53 man roster.. It took Arizona a few days to see it. It took Minnesota 2 years to see it.

Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just stating facts here.

The next time MR Allen does i'm sure you will remind us.

So it took the Panthers 8 preseason and 18 regular season games to realize they have the next Tom Brady. Have they cut Cam yet?
