Fitz in 2019
#1
Looking at the 2019 free agent class his name stood out as one that could end up in purple this year.  Knowing what I know about him he could be exactly what we need as our 3rd WR.  I think he would want to be in Minnesota and we have a spot for him.

IIRC he has said that he will only play for the cardinals,  once they are done with him he will be done with football or some such thing.

Love to have him. But there are two problems. 1. As Jimmy pointed out, Fitz has made it very clear that he wants to stay in AZ. 2. Money. He'll have to take less for his farewell tour, but we're still talking about a guy who makes about $11M per year, which is twice what Thielen makes.

No, give Thielen a raise and draft LeBron James in a football uniform.

I just wish he would consider playing for Vikes for a couple seasons. But I respect the hell out of his loyalty to Cardinals and their loyalty to him. That is the sort of relationship I'd like to see more between HOF players and their teams. With that said I feel like if somehow he does play for another team it has to be the Vikings.

If he wanted to and he would do it on the cheap why not. He's one of the truly good guys of the league.
That said why would he either want to risk it cheap and he is a Cardinal for life by his own admission.
