Stefanski In Line For OC
#1
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Vikings interim OC Kevin Stefanski remains a candidate for the permanent job.
Stefanski seems like a shoo-in to replace John DeFilippo on a permanent basis. The question is if it's the best job he's offered. He will officially interview for the Browns' head-coaching vacancy on Monday.

I heard Bercich with PA earlier this week...He definitely felt KS will be a prime candidate, but it remains to be seen how much/if him and Zimmer are on the same page regarding offensive philosophy and what has to evolve on that side of the ball.

If they aren't aligned then the chances are high Stefanski wont be given the OC title - not here anyways.

I suspect this will be resolved relatively quickly.

might be the best candidate we have considering Zim and Speilly are on 1 yr contracts. wilfs are making right choice letting this play out.

That's about the only reason I would get behind this move: let 'em all sink or swim together.

Jim Bob Cooter just became available.  Sounds like a guy that might hang out on a ranch in Kentucky.....
