I am super bummed that we lost so much of this interview. It was a great interview. Hopefully Tom will be able to recap some of what it went into.

So, Kyle talked about a number of things in the lost footage:

1) He is from Cincy, and he said people have no idea how goof they've got it in Minnesota with the moderate summer weather

2) We noticed that Latavius Murray gets the ball back to the center after plays be shooting the football like a basketball.  I asked Kyle if, as a former basketball player, if Murray could beat him in a pickup game.  He said, "Murray can shoot, but there's no way anyone can beat him in a game off of this Viking team!"

3) I interviewed Kyle at the Pro Bowl about his offseason plans to play a lot of golf.  He said his plans to do that were disrupted with his offseason surgery, but that he got equal workout chasing his young twins.

4) He talked about how he is picking up the new offense, and that he is getting open further downfield in the offense.

We have gotten to know Kyle very well, and he is a good interview, and a fun guy to talk to.   Chalk him up as one of our favorites.

a guy I wanted out of ND and has really earned his place.  he gets dogged a bit for not being the gronk type of TE,  but he does enough things well and still end up in the top 5 in offensive categories so he definitely is earning his.

He is a workman and he is reliable and consistent. What more can you ask out of a TE right?

Well he could be dating porn stars and brokering peace deals with terrorist nations...but I will settle for him being a constant contributor on offense.
