What potential Compensatory Draft Picks are the Vikings looking at for 2019?
#1

As of yesterday, free agents that are gained and lost by teams across the National Football League will no longer affect potential Compensatory selections for the 2019 NFL Draft. Now that the deadline has passed, the folks from Over the Cap have their final projection of where all of the NFL teams stand as far as their potential Compensatory picks are concerned, and it appears to be good news for the Minnesota Vikings.

Nothing for losing Tom Johnson? He was a lot better than Brock. Did we not lose him in FA? Offset by Kendall Wright, maybe?

I believe Tom Johnson was too old (33) to count toward compensatories (Like Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson).

The only thing that worries me is if the Vikings do get 4 picks, giving Spielman his 10-pick target right at the start... what is he going to do to keep from getting bored??  Hang on, 2019 is going to get a little crazy... :#

I had no idea there was an age limit to receiving comp picks. I suppose that would encourage teams to re-sign their older but still prodtive players since they won’t receive any compensation for letting them walk.
