Vikes exercise 5th year option on Waynes...
#21
I think some underestimate how difficult it is to play largely man corner in the NFL.  Zone CBs arent challenged nearly as hard as man corners,  Waynes is doing a great job IMO for a 3rd year guy in a pass happy league that makes it very difficult to actually cover a receiver.  Yes he was handsy and a bit lost when he came out,  but most are,  hell veterans new to Zims way look like shit for a while (remember Munnerlyns first year?)  Tre is doing a really good job and if he is able to show more growth the next couple years he will be right with Rhodes IMO in ability.  (not sure why people forget Rhodes struggles with staying with guys without drawing flags or simply just botching the coverage.)

It's reat to see the progress he has made. I think the hard work he has put in and his work with Coach Zimmer has truly paid off. He has come a long way.
