I hope so too!!! My mom died of cancer back in 1994 at the age of 51, the same age as i am now. I miss her to death. Jim seems like such a humble guy from what I've seen from him. The problem with cancer, is that if they think it's cured or in remission, it usually come back within 5 years.

That "five year" stat is real. And something they (rightfully so) don't tell people when you're diagnosed. My dad was diagnosed and JUST over five years later, after she'd seemingly been in remission for the majority of it, the cancer won. After she died, I remember looking up the stats on lung cancer and found that the survival rate for people after five years since diagnosis was like 7%. Shockingly low. All they can really do for most cancers is buy a small amount of time.
