Someone asked if we can afford to spend that much on an offensive lineman.  Well, above is $30 million reasons to invest in the offensive line.

Go get Norwell and resign Easton, follow that up with drafting the top OT available.  We need to get serious about winning.  Put Case Keenum behind Philly's o-line and he would eat up the Vikings too.  Let's built Case a line right here in Minnesota and get back after it.  We have the money!

The offensive and defensive line were a big part of their success.  But paying money isn't a guarantee of success.  What did Carolina pay for their O-Line? 

Honestly, the biggest factor in Philly's success was the coaching.  Being ahead of the game, innovating, decision making were all a huge factor in their playoff run.

This. Doug Peterson and staff were the ones that made that team what it is...and they did it in 2 seasons. 

Yep. But IMO if that NFCCG is played in Minnesota, the talk would not be about the Eagles.  Our offensive line was pretty darn good until we took an injury at LG and center.  And if we are at home, our line would have been solid while theirs would have struggled facing the noise.  Those double moves wouldn't have been called and our defense would have dominated IMO.

Pederson and staff did a marvelous job getting the #1 seed and then adjusting to the injuries and fooling some pretty good coaches.

I think I read on MMQ that the Panthers run a man blocking scheme. So Norwell might not even be a good fit.

And Hill was the biggest concern on the Line in the Playoffs. Not sure Remmers would have faired any better against Jordan and Graham.

Plug one of the 3-4 OTs that are legit 1st Round talents in at RT and Remmers can battle Izzy for the RG spot where Mike is a better future than LG.

Draft someone later on to compete with Easton and Sirles at LG. Spending big on a FA Guard doesn't solve the Line's biggest issue and makes zero sense to me.

I think Hill probably was better in pass protection, but not as good in the run game.  But against Jordan, we needed better pass pro than Remmers.  And we needed better play at LG although Remmers wasn't the answer there.  I think Hill can be a solid RT, but would be nice to have a true RT from the draft.  But it isn't the most pressing need in my book.  Keeping the pipeline full of young talent is a must though.  After 2016, quality depth is so critical.
